Full Step Availability: 20%
Date/mm Information: A transitional year with sharpening of the steps in May 1982. Full steps at 20% for Reverse of 82 compared to 2% for Reverse of 77.

Coin Description: A chiseled dove grey appearance with clean premium gem surfaces and what looks to this collector to be 5 full steps. There is a tiny bit of weakness of the 5th step below the 3rd pillar, but the overall strength of the steps is magnificent.

Comments:
This coin came from a Harris album purchased in December of 2020 for $1 per coin. That Harris album yielded more high grade full step Jefferson Nickels than any other album I have handled, including full step examples from 82-D & 83-P. This coin represents the first of 3 consecutively numbered coins from that noteworthy Harris album.
