I purchased this nice specimen of a first year of issue Jefferson nickel along with a 1939 "Reverse of 1940" specimen at a coin show in November 2015 primarily to show members of my coin club the differences between the 1938 and 1940 reverses. It also serves to fill this slot in a non-proof only type set. Curiously, this inexpensive coin is worth nearly four times as many points in my 1792-1964 type set as my 1942 type 1 graded Proof 66.
