Mintage: 100,00
Description: This coin is a disaster. The color is muted and it bears all the characteristics of a circulated coin. An even if this AU coin were actually mint state, there is simply no way that these surfaces deserve an MS63 grade.
Comments: The 1944 5 Kroner of this Greenland series was actually struck at the Philadelphia mint for use by United States soldiers stationed in Greenland in WWII because at the time, 5 Kroner had the same value as 1 US dollar. I purchased this coin from and eBay seller (great_britain_coins) on 2/9/2021 for $115.00. Price Guide is $185, no wonder I got it so cheap.
