Owner Comments:

1862 50C PR62 PCGS. Delicate streaks of gray toning cross each side of this otherwise brilliant proof. Sharply struck save for the eagle's left (facing) ankle. Wispy vertical hairlines on the right obverse field preclude a higher grade. A scant 550 pieces were struck for this Civil War proof issue.
