I am sure I paid a premium for this coin from ANACONDA but when it came to completing this set I had to do it.NGC has seen more of this coin than I have.When originally first holdered, previous to me, it was labelled wrong as a S$1 not the T$1 as it should have been.Off to NGC for a relabel and a CAMEO designation.The cameo is a no brainer but the tone on this coin is quite fantastic also. Unfortunately I cannot get the colours to erupt from the pictures.1883 T$1 PR 65 NGC. A popular proof-only issue and the last truly collectible year in the Trade dollar series. This outstanding, cameoed specimen dazzles the viewer with untoned centers and rings of copper-gold and sea-green toning that expand over the base of the reverse to include the statutory weight and fineness requirements. Hairlines are virtually nonexistent, but a close look does yield a few unobtrusive blemishes in the obverse fields that are the only negatives on what is otherwise a visual feast in a proof Trade dollar.
