1923 (Denver)

The '23 D issue is the second rarest Denver issue in gem condition, only to the '27 D. Many possess die cracks, and most are heavily marked.

This one is a bright white coin with a terrific strike, and is likely one of the early strikes from a new set of dies since there is no evidence of the aforementioned die crack impressions. The luster is terrific, and this coin is PQ for the MS66 grade.
