1881-CC $1 MS66+ Prooflike PCGS. CAC. Population: 5 in 66+ Prooflike, 2 finer. CAC: 11 in 66, 1 finer (6/20). The 1881-CC is a bit more challenging than other early 1880's Carson City Morgan dollars issues, but it remains relatively accessible through Gem and even Premium Gem condition. That accessibility changes with Prooflike surfaces. PL and DMPL coins are more elusive across all grade levels. This MS66+ Prooflike dollar is totally brilliant, strongly struck at the centers, with impressively frosted devices and semireflective fields. Eye appeal is excellent. Registry values: P4, N1793.
