OBVERSE: Right-Facing profile of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II, with year of issue and country of issue. This is the third year for the 5th portrait of Elizabeth II to be used on this coin, the first being 2017. The portrait is by Jody Clark whose initials are displayed above the right shoulder of the portrait. The Jody Clark effigy replaces the Ian Rank Broadley design that was previously used between 1998 and 2016. The IRB effigy replaced the Raphael Maklouf Portrait which was in use from 1985 to 1997. The Isle of Man triskelion is not present on the obverse. This marks the third coin in the series to not display the triskelion on the obverse. The previous coins to not display the triskelion were the 1995 and 2017 coins.

REVERSE: Archangel Michael slaying the dragon. The small coat of arms of The Isle of Man is located directly above the halo with a Viking knit motif embellishment emerging from behind it and continuing around the entire circumference of the coin. To the left of the dragon’s head is a 24ct rose gold gilded coral privy mark, coral being the traditional 35th anniversary gift or symbol. The metal, fineness, weight, and denomination of the coin are displayed at the bottom, below the dragon. This is a tweaked version of a previous Raphael Maklouf design, who designed the 3rd portrait of Queen Elizabeth II. The chemical symbol for silver was changed from a lower case a (ag in 2017) to the more common upper case "A" (Ag).

NOTES: This coin was manufactured for and sold exclusively through the Samlerhuset Group and its subsidiary companies. Samlerhuset Group is also the majority owner of the World Money Fair held in Berlin, Germany and the sole owner of the Mint of Norway. The main distributers in the Samlerhuset Group of business for this coin were the Dublin Mint Office and the London Mint Office (no affiliation with the London Mint).

In 2003, the Central Bank of Norway sold a 50 % stake in the Mint of Norway to the Samlerhuset Group, while the remaining 50 % stake was acquired by the Mint of Finland. In 2015 Samlerhuset bought Mint of Finland’s shares in the company and now owns it in its entirety. The Mint of Norway produces all legal tender coinage for Norway and for several other nations, including the production of the Nobel Peace Prize medal in gold.
