Owner Comments:

My fascination with the mythological tale of Hercules, as shown in the films, is one of the reasons why I wanted to share these coins.

France produced several stunning and very collectible coins, like the 1977 50-franc silver coin. It weighs 30 grams and is crafted from 0.900 pure silver. A mythical portrayal showing Hercules vanquishing the Nemean lion is shown on the reverse of the coin, called the Hercules Group.

The date and value are displayed within a wreath on the front of the coin. It was struck at the Monnaie de Paris with a mintage of 7,884,000.

Due to their affordability and beauty, these coins are well-liked by collectors. the fact that the coin's silver content is worth more than their face value, making them an excellent option for silver investments as well.

The above mentioned dates are on a silver 50-franc coin with diameter of 41.0 mm, a reeded edge, the mint mark Dolphine can be seen (Monnaie de Paris), and engraving by Augustin Dupré.

These coins are available for resonable price in circulated condition, High grade coins however, can command a premium price. For instance, an uncirculated 1977 France Silver 50 Franc Coin might get over $100 in raw at coin auction.
