Ex: Frog Run Farm Collection. Satiny, lightly reflective fields and modestly frosted motifs display strong lustre, much mint brilliance, and a pale wash of faint champagne just beginning on both sides. Nicely struck for the date, the obverse somewhat weak at the star centers, the reverse bold in all areas. Undeniably choice for the grade; a few faint hairlines are present, but no deep gouges or otherwise distracting marks are noted. Rarer than its mintage of 88,000 pieces suggests, especially at AU as here.
