Owner Comments:

I purchased this coin at the March 2020 internet only Stacks Bowers auction. It has original dark grayish brown toning and is well detailed, although by my more traditional standards would grade Choice Extremely Fine due to its lack of luster. This is one of the more common issues of the early 1870s.
