2020 was the twenty-first year of the Sacagawea Dollar/Native American dollar series. The reverse side of the 2020 coin commemorates Elizabeth Peratrovich, who helped pass an Anti-Discrimination Law in 1945.

Coins minted since 2009 feature a plain edge with lettering that shows the year of production and the motto of the U.S. "E Pluribus Unum."
