Owner Comments:

This is a nice AU - 50 Draped Bust Half Cent Crosslet 4 with Stems as certified by PCGS.Although the Cohen Variety isn’t listed on the label, it appears to be a C-9.The label clearly states that it is a Crosslet 4 with stems variety but because the Cohen number isn’t on the label it is listed as a Plain 4 with Stems for registry purposes which doesn’t make any sense to me because that isn’t the correct description for this coin.None-the-less,it is still a very nice U.S. Draped Bust Half Cent which was struck at the time the Lewis and Clark Expedition was setting out to explore the newly acquired land of the Louisiana Purchase. This land was purchased from France and added considerably to the size of the United States.
