Owner Comments:
The no-motto Indian eagle type is rare. Less than 300,000 of these were produced making it second only to the 1907 high-relief double eagles among circulation coin types of the 20th century. The edge of the coin has raised stars representing the states of the union (46 stars from 1907-1911, 48 stars from 1912-1933).
This mint-state coin is a piece of history and very rare in gem quality!
