This coin looks more like a proof than the 1884, with somewhat mirrored surfaces and some contrast. The related circulation strikes (mintage 1,000) are very rare and may include some pieces certified as proofs. I purchased it in 2015. Photos courtesy of Stacks Bowers Galleries.
