Owner Comments:

This is a rare date. The San Francisco Mint struck only 9,000 coins before the design was changed and the motto "In God We Trust" was added above the eagle. Nearly all coins entered circulation and survivors are normally found heavily worn.
Only one single mint state survivor in PCGS MS-61 has been slabbed by the two major grading services. The average survivor only grades XF-40. Less than 100 pieces are thought to exist.
