An absolutely amazing eye catching 1941-S Mercury Dime in MS-66 FB as graded by NGC.When looking at the NGC accompanied photos it appears as though the reverse die is slightly rotated.This coin was struck in the same year that Pearl Harbor,Hawaii was attacked by the Japanese Empire on Sunday morning December 7,1941 at approximately 8:00AM.Franklin D.Roosevelt was our 32nd President serving his second term when this attack occurred which brought us into WWII.In Roosevelt’s Speech to Congress asking for a declaration of War,he referred to the attack as a day that would “live in infamy”
