I'm actually happy to find such a nice proof coin like this in the final year of silver!

The coin was designed to commemorate a President that kept us from nuclear war. His death in 1963 was a tragedy to many around the world.

This coin was a starting tribute to his legacy and the only silver coin in its year! It wouldn't be until 1992 that you can get this coin in silver.
