Owner Comments:

The Bicentennial issues of the quarter, half, and dollar all bear the date 1776-1976 and were minted from 1975-1976.

This example is slightly toned giving it a golden tint with bright luster and clean surfaces. NGC has graded only 42 in MS67 with none higher. For such a common type coin (over half-a-billion), it is amazing how difficult it is to find in MS67. After two years I finally got lucky with this one, the much scarcer Philadelphia mint.
