A rather nice 1809 1/2 cent in VF-25 BN condition as graded by NGC.This Half Cent was in all probability minted during the Presidency of James Madison during his first term as President - March 4,1809 - March 3,1813.However slim the possibility may be it could have occurred during the end of Thomas Jefferson’s second term in office which ended on March 3,1809.Both Presidencies overlapped during the year 1809.
