Near gem Canada Elizabeth II circulation silver voyageur Short Water Line variety dollar. Average strike with nice original luster. Light contact marks and scratches are present commensurate with grade. Acquired: 2019 on Calgary Coin.
Composition: 80% silver. Weight: 23.3276 grams. Diameter: 36.06 mm. Thickness: 2.84 mm. Edge: Milled. Mintage: 246,606 (includes all varieties). Obverse: The portrait in right profile of Elizabeth II, when she was 27 years old, is surrounded with the inscription "ELIZABETH II DEI GRATIA REGINA" (Elizabeth II, Queen by the grace of God). Reverse: A voyageur and an aboriginal travelling by canoe, carrying bundles of which one bears the initials "HB" for Hudson's Bay Company, are surrounded with the face value and the inscription "CANADA".
