Owner Comments:

A nice Three Cent Nickel coin in AU-58 condition as graded by NGC. A low mintage of only 30,000 coins for this year. The year 1879 was only the second year of production for the new Morgan Silver Dollar.
Rutherford B. Hayes was the 19th United States President and was in the middle of his only term as President when this coin was struck at the Philadelphia Mint.
