NGC US Coin Census for Walking Liberty Half Dollars (1916-1947)

Owner Comments:

In 1916, the Walking Liberty half dollar joined the Standing Liberty quarter and the Mercury dime in replacing the Barber series as part of the coin beautification program. One of the most identifiable designs in US coin history, the Walking Liberty half dollar was so popular it's design was selected above all others to be on the American Silver Eagle series.

This fantastic example has slight, even toning giving it amazing color under exceptional luster. NGC has graded 145 in MS68, 14 in MS 68+ or MS68★, and only one in MS69.
