Owner Comments:
Amazingly prestine surfaces with beautiful luster. Marks that show up in the scans are from less than perfect dies. What doesn't show up in the scans is a long slender curving die crack or raised die scratch on liberty's cheek to her neck. The reverse has coarseness inside of the "D" in United and below the "D" of 2 1/2 D. Great strike and wonderful frosty devices. Obverse has a somewhat greenish-gold color with orange highlights. One or two faint hairlines can be found if you look hard enough and use a strong glass under a bright halogen lamp. All told, a nice high end quality piece to "anchor" the set.
