Circulation strike mintage: 3,854,000

This circulated coin shows some signs of abrasion and moderate traces of wear on the very highest points of the design including Liberty's head and left hand, and the Eagle's breast and left leg.

The characteristic that stood out the most to me in this coin is the satiny surface on both the obverse and reverse surfaces. None of the other examples in this grade reached out and grabbed me as much as this coin did.

This particular coin has most of the original mint luster still present, good strike, and attractive eye appeal.

On the obverse, the head and left arm show this wear with 60% and 50% of design details present, respectively. There are moderate numbers of contact marks on the coin's obverse fields that are not distracting.

On the reverse, most of the feathers on the Eagle's breast and half of the left leg are still present.
