This is a very common issue of Liberty Walking Half Dollar so finding a fairly nice example was easy. Proofs I've handled are well struck.

Cherrypicking an example with this degree of frosty white luster was not easy, but I hunted one down.

However, the numerous light contact marks, deeper pinpoint contact marks, and a patch of hairlines on the obverse surface probably was the reason this example was graded down to an MS-61.

In my limited experience, a well struck reverse is not enough to carry a poorer obverse which is a shame since the detail on this reverse is worthy of a MS-64 with only a few light scuff marks on the Eagle's breast and left leg.
