Owner Comments:

Circulation strike mintage 9,522,000
Proof mintage 5,728 (second rarest of the proofs)

One of my most beautiful coins in the series, this Mint State example shows rich luster and fabulous eye appeal.

This coin also has that "blast white" appearance I referred to in the introduction, and is very well struck with no signs of wear.

The obverse is worthy of special mention. Only a few scattered contact marks can be seen under 7x magnification. Liberty's head and left hand both have 70% or more of detail.

The reverse is impressive with the Eagle's breast and left leg having most of their plumage. The Eagle's neck feathers are especially prominent. Again, fully original luster and very attractive eye appeal make this one of my favorite Liberty Walker Halves.
