2001 Silver Panda 1oz MS69
The 2001 panda coins were only struck in BU quality. The BU coin had 3 varieties – a large “D” mintmark, a small “D” mintmark and no mark. The “D” denoted the domestic version. Collectors became aware of the small “D” a few years after its issue and they are the most valued. The Large “D” was issued from the Shenzhen Guobao Mint.
Mintage of the no mark BU coin is 500,000. Mintage of the small and large “D” versions is unknown.
