Owner Comments:

The Liberty Head nickel, aka "V" nickel for the roman numeral 5 on the reverse, lasted from 1883-1912. It was designed by Charles Barber, designer of the entire Barber series. In 1912 it became the first nickel struck at the Denver and San Francisco mints.

This example has pretty rainbow bulls-eye toning.
