Hawaii - 1883 10 Cents - (KM-3) - Mintage: 250,000 (est. survival. 105,000)
Struck at the San Francisco mint for circulation in the Kingdom of Hawaii. All of the coins of this type were struck sometime between November 1883 and June 1884 although all are dated 1883.
The Hawaiian dime is second in rarity only to the Hawaiian dollar among the regular-issue 1883 coins issued by the Kingdom of Hawaii, so I feel very fortunate to have acquired this nearly uncirculated specimen at a reasonable price.
