Most of the coins in this year/mint of Liberty Walking Halves are fairly well struck. The proofs are very well struck with this series having the rarest number of proofs.

What can be said about this coin ! Of all the mint state coins I had the pleasure of examining in this grade, this example had a pure golden mint luster, a razor sharp strike that jumps off the coin, and outstanding eye appeal.

The obverse was fantastic with superb eye appeal worth mentioning in it's own right. Full center skirt lines are appreciated with a very noticeable separation and definition of the thumb on the right outstretched hand of Liberty. The only fault I could find was a small gouge on the right outstretched arm of Liberty.

The reverse is almost pristine, with only a small scuff mark on the right wing that is hardly noticeable, fully original luster (slightly deeper gold-toned than the obverse) and very attractive eye appeal.
