Owner Comments:

The 1913 Type 1 Buffalo proof nickel is especially coveted as a one year type coin. Only 1520 were made making it rarer that the 1907 high-relief double eagle. Only the VDB Lincoln proof cent type is more rare in the 20th century with only 1194 made, but somehow that coin sells for 4 to 6 times as much.

This example has a matte finish and is CAC approved.
