1995 Silver 5 Yuan 1/2oz Panda LARGE DATE MS70
The 1995 5 Yuan silver Panda exists in two varieties: Large and Small Date. The Large Date is by far the more common and was minted in Shanghai. No mintage was published for the 1995 5 Yuan Panda. Although it is often considered a common date the 1995 Large Date is nearly as scarce as the 1993.
What makes it a higher valued coin than the 1993-1994 5 Yuan Silver Pandas is the quality. Only about 3.5% are graded a perfect MS70 by NGC (12/2020).
