Owner Comments:

Six commemorative dollars were released in 1995, and five of them centered around the upcoming 1996 Olympic Summer Games in Atlanta, Georgia. The third of these Olympic dollars honored the sport of cycling. The obverse of the coin features three cyclists racing forward, with the letters USA and the five-ring Olympic logo to the left side of the coin and the words XXVI Olympiad to the right. The reverse features an image of two outstretched hands clasped at each other's wrist, with a depiction of an Olympic torch above.

There were only 19,662 uncirculated coins produced by the Denver Mint, and 118,795 proof coins produced by the Philadelphia Mint. The uncirculated dollars are somewhat difficult to find in MS70 condition. The Philadelphia Mint proof dollars are very difficult to find in perfect PF70 condition.
