Owner Comments:

Six commemorative dollars were released in 1995, and five of them centered around the upcoming 1996 Olympic Summer Games in Atlanta, Georgia. The first of these Olympic dollars honored the sport of gymnastics. The obverse of the coin features a male gymnast on rings, and a female gymnast who appears to be performing a floor exercise. The reverse features an image of two outstretched hands clasped at each other's wrist, with a depiction of an Olympic torch above.

There were 42,497 uncirculated coins produced by the Denver Mint, and 182,676 proof coins produced by the Philadelphia Mint. The uncirculated dollars are not too difficult to find in MS70 condition. The Philadelphia Mint proof dollars are very difficult to find in perfect PF70 condition.
