ONLY 17 GRADED HIGHER!

The U.S. Mint sold 51,386 Proof Sets in 1950. But only 171 Washington Quarters from that year have been graded Proof 68. Finding high quality 1950 Proof Quarters is difficult. Most of the Quarters made in the early years of the Post-War Proof series are scratched, toned or damaged in some way. This coin is one of the finest 1950 Brilliant Proof Quarters that exists. Only 17 specimens are graded higher than this coin.
