The 1994 World Cup half dollar is the 9th half dollar minted in the "Modern Commemorative" era. The obverse of the 1994-P half dollar features a soccer player in action. The reverse of the coin features the official USA World Cup 1994 logo. There were 609,354 proof coins minted. These half dollars are comprised of 92% copper and 8% nickel. The 1994-P half is a key coin in any collection of Modern Commemorative half dollars and are very difficult to find in perfect PF70 graded condition.
