Toned Canada George VI circulation silver dollar minted to celebrate the visit of King George VI and Queen Elizabeth in 1939. Pretty strong strike and nice luster. Central devices exhibit light to medium brownish gold toning. Light contact marks and scratches are present commensurate with grade. Acquired: 1/5/19 on Canadian Numismatic Company Auction.
Composition: 80% silver. Weight: 23.3276 grams. Diameter: 36.06 mm. Thickness: 2.84 mm. Edge: Reeded. Mintage: 1,363,816 (all varieties). Obverse: Head left, modified left legend. Reverse: Parliament buildings in Ottawa, date and denomination below.
