In 1958 the U.S. Mint sold 875,652 Proof Sets. But only 1417 of the Lincoln Cents from that year have survived in Proof 69 RD condition. Just 3 1958 Proof Cents have been graded higher than this coin. It's one of the finest surviving examples.
