NGC type 16 holder.
Beautiful coin. Great detail. Deeply mirrored fields. Very light touch of gold toning beginning on rims. Various colors of reverse toning on the R in "pluribus", S, A & E in "states" & O & F of "of". The "reverse of 1938" (characterized by the less well defined steps) is the more common of the 1939 proof issues.
