Owner Comments:
Five commemorative dollars were released in 1994. The fourth dollar issued commemorates the 10th anniversary of the Vietnam Veterans Memorial. The obverse of the coin features an image of a hand touching the wall. The reverse features three medals that were issued during the conflict: the Armed Forces Expeditionary Medal, the Vietnam Service Medal, and the Republic of Vietnam Campaign Medal. There were 57,290 uncirculated coins produced by the West Point Mint, and 227,671 proof coins produced by the Philadelphia Mint. The uncirculated dollars are easy to find in MS70 condition. The Philadelphia Mint proof dollars are extremely difficult to find in perfect PF70 condition.
