Similar to the Centuries first Quarter Eagle, the Liberty Head type was the first Half Eagle of the Century. This coin is a solid gem with great eye appeal, just the lightest of abrasions are visible under magnification preventing the coin from grading higher than 65. Still I would consider this a PQ coin for the grade.
