Owner Comments:

The first commemorative released in 2014 was the Civil Rights Act of 1964 Silver Dollar. The coin's obverse features three marching civil rights activists with one holding a sign that reads "We Shall Overcome." The reverse of the coin features a stylized image of a lamp with three intertwined flames.

There was a small mintage of 24,720 uncirculated and 61,992 proof coins produced by the Philadelphia Mint. The MS70 graded dollars are fairly easy to find at an affordable price. There are fewer than 500 NGC PF70 graded dollars, so they are a little more difficult to find.
