Owner Comments:

If you enlarge the obverse photo, you can see where the first three letters of the word LIBERTY was originally enter on the master hub as LLIERTY. All $20 gold pieces from 1850 through 1858 show this error. In 1859 a new master hub was cut correcting this error along with a few other minor changes.
