Owner Comments:
Lots of "flash" can be seen from both sides. The obverse has a beautiful even mix of bright reddish gold by the rims that blends into a fiery forest green/pale blue coloration. On the reverse, the same colors appear, only they form rings. The mirrors are super deep, crystal clear, and really enlighten to make the colors stand out. Miss Liberty and the details are sharply struck and have delicate frost. Only 700 pieces were ever minted. A very seldom seen and overlooked grade, especially for pre-1878 dates.
