Owner Comments:
A solidly graded MS65+ Blast White specimen of this particularly difficult Philadelphia Mint date with a tinge of Rosy color. Most MS-65 examples are significantly "Baggy" in the fields and show a lot of "Rub" on the obverse, where this specimen is a strong strike and has very clean surfaces. NGC Population is only this one coin in MS-65+ with only two higher at MS-66. This Coin was Pedigreed to the Pamela Henard Peace Dollar Collection in 2018.
Mark Salzberg, NGC Chairman and Grading Finalizer:
This is a tough coin. It has a great strike and a bit of light toning. On this date anything above 65 is really tough, and 65+ is about as nice as you’re going to find. This Gem is very rare and a great example.
