Owner Comments:

This John Mercanti designed coin features an image of a diamond (the state gem), a mallard flying above a lake, and stalks of rice to represent the state of Arkansas.

Arkansas was admitted as the 25th U.S. state in 1836. There was a mintage of 1,125,755 proof coins.

Ebay auction purchase from Dakota Coin, 12/17/2017, $12.69 (the lowest I have paid for a PF70UCAM coin in this series.
