Owner Comments:

The first commemorative dollar of 2002 was the Olympic Salt Lake City Silver Dollar, issued with surcharges added to support the U.S. effort at the 2002 Winter Olympics. The obverse of the coin shows a stylized image of a snowflake. The reverse features an image of the Salt Lake City skyline, with the Rocky Mountains in the background.

There were 40,257 uncirculated and 166,864 proof coins produced by the Philadelphia Mint. The MS70 graded dollars are fairly easy to find. Perfect PF70 graded dollars are difficult to find... I'm still looking for one.
