Owner Comments:

Six commemorative dollars were released in 1995, and five of them centered around the upcoming 1996 Olympic Summer Games in Atlanta, Georgia. The fourth of these Olympic dollars honored the Paralympics. The obverse of the coin features blind runner competing in a race along with a seeing companion. The reverse features an image of two outstretched hands clasped at each other's wrist, with a depiction of an Olympic torch above.

There were 28,649 uncirculated coins produced by the Denver Mint, and 138,337 proof coins produced by the Philadelphia Mint. The uncirculated dollars are fairly easy to find in MS70 condition. The Philadelphia Mint proof dollars are very difficult to find in perfect PF70 condition.
