Owner Comments:

The first release of commemorative dollars in 2007 celebrates the 400th anniversary of the settlement at Jamestown, Virginia. The obverse features two settlers from the old world, a man and woman, and a Native American. The reverse features an image of the three ships that brought settlers to the first colony in America.

There were 81,034 uncirculated and 260,363 proof coins produced by the Philadelphia Mint. The MS70 and PF70 graded dollars are plentiful and easy to find at an affordable price.
